Things I Know – Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer. He has a diverse musical style mix of hip-hop, R&B, reggae and rap.
In 2008, he partnered with Phyno to form a record label called Penthauz where he released his first two singles: “Party Like It’s 1980” and “Activity Pikin“. After spending years under the radar, he collaborated with Davido and released his career-making single “Gallardo“, which brought him more attention and won Best Collaboration honors in 2014.
Runtown’s debut album titled ‘Ghetto University’ which featured Wizkid, DJ Khaled and more arrived in 2015. He earned his first global hit with the 2016 song- ‘Mad Over You‘ which reached the Top 40 of Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart.
After taking a year break from the music scene, Runtown returns today November 2nd, 2022 with a new single since ‘If E Happen For Lagos‘. “Things I Know” showcases pleasant, floating lyrics from the Nigerian foremost singer.
