Spyro recounts journey to success as he visits University of Ibadan

Proficient Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly often called Spyro, made a nostalgic return to his alma mater, the College of Ibadan (UI), on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Throughout his go to, Spyro met with key members of the college administration, together with Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Peter O. Olapegba.

Well-known for his hit monitor Who’s your Man?, Spyro shared a heartwarming video on Sunday, March 24, 2024, documenting his journey down reminiscence lane at UI. He reminisced about his undergraduate days, revealing how he was as soon as thought-about a nuisance for passionately selling his music on campus.

Expressing deep emotion, Spyro recounted his journey and gratitude for the chance to reconnect along with his former lecturers and the Vice-Chancellor. In an emotional caption accompanying the video, he mirrored on his transformation from being dismissed to now being celebrated, as some college officers fondly referred to him as “their man.”

He wrote, “So I made a decision to return to my alma Mata Unibadan with my producer @mrsoulofficial and I held his arms at a degree and shed a tear as I remembered how I used to be a nuisance to many as a result of I used to be pushing my music again then on campus ???? Now have a look at me again to the identical UNI ???? THE REJECTED STONE HAS NOW BECOME THE CHIEF CORNER STONE…”

“It began right here about 15 years in the past and coming again right here assembly with my lecturers and VC’s makes me break down in thanksgiving .Many don come many don go however I STILL DE HERE. Guys in what ever you do, keep constant, at first folks will hate and discourage you however maintain going, it would all be value it,” he added.

Spyro’s go to serves as proof of perseverance and the conclusion of goals, inspiring others to pursue their passions regardless of preliminary obstacles.
