South African social media is buzzing after a snippet of a remix of the hit tune Tswala Bam by S.N.E, EeQue, Yuppe and TitoM that includes Nigerian famous person Davido was shared on-line.
Whereas some followers are excited concerning the collaboration, many South Africans should not proud of the remix, with some even threatening to boycott the tune. The snippet has some South Africans feeling that Davido’s verse takes away from the unique observe.
When EeQue shared a video to TikTok of him chilling, feedback like “Take away [Davido] or we’ll take the streams down” and “you are right here chilling whereas Davido is ruining the tune” have been making the rounds. Others are extra blunt, saying issues like “Davido ruined all of it.” Ouch!
It is clear that some South African followers are feeling protecting of their homegrown hit and are not feeling the worldwide remix. We’ll have to attend and see if the complete tune sways their opinion or if the Tswala Bam remix finally ends up being successful or a miss.
